wishing wells...

prayer has taught me to abandon the idea of wishing wells...
there is no change in exchange for the change granted through faith...
wishing wells are much to shallow to hold blessings as abundant as joy, hope, love, & forgiveness...
i have wished and placed change in many wells..
then i started to pray...
i don't want to be reminded of what pennies have gotten me...
i know that they were necessary
yet i will sing praises to what i have gained through prayer..
and this is just the obvious...
